Versatile is a good word for these dogs. Historically they were bred and trained to search for and point game, to track, and retrieve on both land and water. They can do just about anything they put their minds to: solving both the problems you want them to, and ones they want to solve! A Spinone thrives with a job. They need a little bit of exercise everyday and prefer to do it with you. Spinone are slow to mature and require plenty of treats, consistent practice, and patience to master commands. They do not respond well to harsh training practices.
